The Haters....

If you have to use criticism and judgement to make small talk, just don't talk. It's so irritating to hear people doing nothing, talking crap about someone who is trying to do SOMETHING. Stuck in them same old mindsets, like crabs in a darn bucket. UGH! I can't stand that old stuck in the mud, i'm so hood, thug life, ignorant, know it all who knows nothing but refuses to learn, 5 generations of drugs, welfare, & prison mentality - yet you judging someone for wanting something better - judging someone for not wanting the life you don't want yourself?!? Insanity!

Don't be mad at those who chose to get out. Be mad at yourself for believing you couldn't. Then, recognize that you can and get up and do better. Smdh, people wanting you to apologize for NOT falling victim to the system. I will NOT apologize for surviving or thriving - NO ONE SHOULD

The Talkers.......

People love to make up colorful stories about your life. I'm going to start collecting these stories and putting them in a book so I can remember all that I've done.

Apparently, I've missed entire portions of my life but good news! There's a team of 'experts' who have devoted THEIR lives to studying lil ole me! They pass my history down from generation to generation, they talk about me with their friends, they think of me in their thoughts. 

Out of respect, they whisper outside of my presence and behind my back. We certainly wouldn't want to taint their PERCEPTION of my life with the REALITY of my life! I understand and respect this.  It can be hard to live a lie when you know the truth. Much better to keep the harm out of truths way, right? (You read that right). smile emoticon

In any event, I must seek out these people who know me so well so they can tell me about myself. I can't wait to see what they've found out about me. I have a TON of questions! I really appreciate these experts thinking I'm important enough to preserve and pass down my life stories, even if they tend to exaggerate and color them up. I adore all the energy and work put into little old me. They MUST be rewarded and publicly acknowledged for their diligent service!

I shall seek them. I shall find them. I shall thank them. Their slander has done much to amuse me!

SEEK the Lord. Not passively accept what you are told about Him.

Religion tells us - don't ask the hard questions, just believe what we say. Trust our word about His word. If you ask hard questions, you have no faith and you are liable to be called blasphemous or a heretic. 

YHWH (The great I AM Creator of the Universe) tells us to SEEK HIM and promises when we seek Him, He will be found. 

Seek is a verb which means: 

1. attempt to find (something). synonyms: search for, try to find, look for, be on the lookout for, be after, hunt for, be in quest of

2. attempt or desire to obtain or achieve (something). synonyms:try to obtain, work toward, be intent on, aim at/for

3. ask for (something) from someone. synonyms: ask for, request, solicit, call for, entreat, beg for, petition for, appeal for, apply for, put in for

4.  search for and find someone or something.

5. go to (a place) [archaic meaning]

Based on these definitions of the word seek, one has to ask: are we really SEEKING the Lord with our whole hearts as we claim? Let us be honest. Do you seek the Lord as much as you would seek out $100 you lost? Probably not. 

Most of us, if we're honest, either rely on the knowledge of our pastors, grandmothers or other individuals we know who are devout in their faith rather than seeking God for ourselves.Others of us try to seek Him but lack of understanding creates barriers that stop us from moving forward. So, we give up or just rely on the knowledge of others who teach/preach. 

While there is nothing wrong with receiving teaching from those who may have more understanding - it is NOT the same as SEEKING for yourself. We must STOP being afraid to ask the hard and forbidden questions, God is not afraid of them - MAN is. We must not take everything placed in front of us and stamped with the name of God or said to be inspired by Him at face value just because it is placed in front of us. We should diligently SEEK HIM and SEEK HIS TRUTH if we should hope to find it. Religion is NOT God. Many of us are worshipping religion and have no idea how far away from God we really are. "No one understands; no one seeks God" - Romans 3:11

We must not allow religion to become YHWH (God), we must not ONLY rely on man to tell us what His word says. Again, this is not to say teaching is wrong and that we shouldn't listen to our preachers, teachers and the likes but to stress the importance of diligently seeking God for ourselves. This includes asking questions when we don't understand and seeking out the answers through reputable sources and prayer. 

There is much deception out there, but so is Truth. It is up to us to seek Him. 

"You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with your whole heart." - Jeremiah 29:13

"Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known." Jeremiah 33:3

"The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God." Psalm 14:2
